\nThe Principal Apportionment Data Collection (PADC) Web Application is now available for reporting 2024\u201325 First Principal Apportionment (P-1) data on the California Department of Education (CDE) website at pas.cde.ca.gov\/<\/a>.
\n* The following 2024\u201325 P-1 data is due to the CDE no later than January 15, 2025: * Attendance * Necessary Small School * Adults in Correctional Facilities * Special Education Local Plan Area Average Daily Attendance Allocation * Special Education Tax Allocation * Infant Funding * Charter School Physical Location * Transfer of Funds Alternative Rate Option
\nResources for data reporting and certification are posted on the PADC webpage at: www.cde.ca.gov\/fg\/aa\/pa\/index.asp?tabsection=4<\/a> under the Data Collection tab.
\nThe PADC User Manual (v 2024\u201325 1.00) may be used in reporting data for the above-mentioned data entry screens.

\nNew for 2024\u201325 P-1:
\n* An updated version of the PADC Web-based application was released on November 5, 2024. Users may experience the following new features: * Improved processing speed * A \u201cShow All \/ Print\u201d button has been added to allow for the printing of all tabs and records of each data entry screen. * Minor cosmetic and layout changes
\nReminders:
\n* Read the User Manual thoroughly for step-by-step instructions and tips for specific data entry screens. * Make sure to save all data before navigating to the next record or tab within a data entry screen; verify all data saved correctly before validation and data certification. * If the system generates a blank page, do not refresh the browser. Instead, close the application and re-open it to continue. * If you experience technical difficulties, please call or email the Principal Apportionment Section at 916-324-4541 or PADC@cde.ca.gov<\/a><mailto:PADC@cde.ca.gov<\/a><\/a>>. * Prior year corrections (fiscal year 2020\u201321 and prior) should continue to be submitted through the PADC desktop software for each applicable year. The desktop software can be downloaded from the PADC webpage at: www.cde.ca.gov\/fg\/aa\/pa\/index.asp?tabsection=4<\/a>
