{"id":2313,"date":"2025-03-20T21:37:42","date_gmt":"2025-03-20T21:37:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/business.sbceo.org\/apportionments\/?p=2313"},"modified":"2025-03-20T18:33:28","modified_gmt":"2025-03-21T01:33:28","slug":"attendance-recovery-faqs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/business.sbceo.org\/apportionments\/?p=2313","title":{"rendered":"Attendance Recovery FAQs"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"postie-post\">You are receiving this message because you have subscribed to the Principal Apportionment (PASE) Listserv.<br \/>\nThe California Department of Education&#8217;s website has published Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on Attendance Recovery:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cde.ca.gov\/fg\/it\/aarecovery.asp\">www.cde.ca.gov\/fg\/it\/aarecovery.asp<\/a><br \/>\nSenate Bill (SB) 153 (Chapter 38, Statutes of 2024) as amended by SB 176 (Chapter 998, Statutes of 2024) established the Attendance Recovery (AR) program under Article 9, Chapter 2, Part 26 of Education Code (EC) sections 46210-46211. Starting in fiscal year 2025-26, Attendance Recovery programs give local educational agencies (LEAs) the option to offer more opportunities to increase student access to instruction and recover funding dependent on average daily attendance.<br \/>\nThe Attendance Recovery FAQs provide guidance on program requirements and attendance reporting for apportionment, as well as how Attendance Recovery interacts with Expanded Learning Opportunity Programs, and absence data reporting for California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS). Contact information at the bottom of each tab directs users to the appropriate contact for further questions.
