\nDear School Business Professionals,
\nAs shared at our last SBO Meeting, the NEW SACS Web-Based Software is going \u2018live\u2019 next week (the software must be \u2018live\u2019 before anyone can be set up in the system).
\nThe following table shows the steps that need to be taken by the District\/LEA:
\n Steps to prepare for the new SACS Web-Based Software Launch
\nStep 1: Register for the training today! Space is limited to 60 participants.
\nStep 2:
\nSet up the District\/LEA Administrator \u2013 Complete the Form. Next week after the SACS software goes live, be on the lookout for an email from our office to set up the District\u2019s\/LEA\u2019s key administrator. This will be the one person responsible for setting up everyone else in your organization.
\nThe email will include a link to the SACS System Web Access LEA\/Administrator (User\/Manager) Assignment Form. The key person from the district will complete this form which will be routed to County staff who will then set up this one person in the system.
\nStep 3: Set up other users. After the key District\/LEA Administrator is set up in the SACS System by the County Office, they will need to set up and assign roles for other users in their organization.
\nStep 4: Attend the Training on Thurs., April 21 from 8:30 until noon. Districts will need to have their users set up in advance of the training. If a participant attends the training and is not set up, they will not be able to join in the exercises, etc.
\n We are working hard to make this transition as smooth as possible. Thank you for your efforts to get this new SACS Software implementation launched for your organization.
