{"id":266,"date":"2020-12-02T16:46:36","date_gmt":"2020-12-03T00:46:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/204.48.247.27\/johnd\/?p=266"},"modified":"2020-12-02T15:48:30","modified_gmt":"2020-12-02T23:48:30","slug":"strs-directive-2020-06","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/business.sbceo.org\/memos\/?p=266","title":{"rendered":"STRS Directive 2020-06"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear School Business Professionals,<br \/>\nAttached is CalSTRS Directive 2020-06 &#8211; Changes to the Definition of &#8220;Leave of Absence&#8221; (Assembly Bill 2101)<br \/>\nAB 2101 amends Education Code section 22144.3 to remove the requirement that a leave of absence be &#8220;expressly authorized&#8221; by specific sections of the Education Code, effectively reverting back to the statute as it read prior to January 1, 2016, in regard to other employer-approved leave.
