Please forward this email to the school districts and charter schools in your county. The purpose of this email is to notify you that the California Department of Education (CDE) has posted the 2021–22 revised allocations from federal funds provided to the state under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act.
The revised allocations include fund redistributed from closed charter schools to eligible local educational agencies.
After March 2022, funds are redistributed to all eligible local educational agencies (LEAs) in the final allocation. Funds will no longer be set aside for LEAs without the application in the Consolidated Application Reporting System (CARS) and/or lacking an approved Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) Federal Addendum.
For detailed information about these revised allocations, please visit the CDE Categorical Programs web page at www.cde.ca.gov/fg/aa/ca/ where, under the program name, the revised allocations are posted.
If you have questions regarding any of the title programs above, please contact Categorical Allocations and Audit Resolution Office, by email at CAAR@cde.ca.gov<mailto:CAAR@cde.ca.gov>.
