The purpose of this email is to notify you that the California Department of Education (CDE) has sent an apportionment to the State Controller’s Office for payment. This apportionment, in the amount of $1,906,375, is made from federal funds provided to the state under Title V, Part B, Subpart 2 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (Public Law 114–95), in support of the Rural and Low-Income School Program.
