SACS SYSTEM – “Live” today…
Dear School Business Officials,
The SACS Web-based system goes live today!
The next step will be for SBCEO to set up the county administrators in the system. After that, we can begin adding your district’s designated LEA Administrator/User Managers.
If you are the district’s designated LEA Administrator/User Manager, you will receive two notifications in your email in the next day or so:
1. When SBCEO establishes your user account, you will receive an email from DONOTREPLY@SACS-CDE.ORG<mailto:REPLY@SACS-CDE.ORG> — Subject line “Confirm Link” which will prompt you to create a password. This link will expire after 24 hours. 2. When SBCEO assigns your entity and roles, you will receive another email from DONOTREPLY@SACS-CDE.ORG<mailto:REPLY@SACS-CDE.ORG> — Subject line “Your SACS System Profile Entity Roles have Changed”*
*Note if you try to log into SACS Web before your entity and roles are assigned, you will receive an error message.
A new SACS Webpage will be going live soon on our website. It includes resources that will be useful for designated LEA Administrator/User Manager. Look for an email from our office when it is published.
If you have any questions, please email Jenelle Williams at jwilliams@sbceo.org<mailto:jwilliams@sbceo.org>.
Thank you.

Register now! NEW — SACS Web-Based Software Training
SACS Web-Based Software Training Mark your Calendar: Thurs., April 21 – 8:30 to noon via zoom
See attached Registration Notice with links to registration Note: Space is limited, so be sure to sign up early!
********************************************************
Dear School Business Professionals,
As shared at our last SBO Meeting, the NEW SACS Web-Based Software is going ‘live’ next week (the software must be ‘live’ before anyone can be set up in the system).
The following table shows the steps that need to be taken by the District/LEA:
Steps to prepare for the new SACS Web-Based Software Launch
Step 1: Register for the training today! Space is limited to 60 participants.
Step 2:
Set up the District/LEA Administrator – Complete the Form. Next week after the SACS software goes live, be on the lookout for an email from our office to set up the District’s/LEA’s key administrator. This will be the one person responsible for setting up everyone else in your organization.
The email will include a link to the SACS System Web Access LEA/Administrator (User/Manager) Assignment Form. The key person from the district will complete this form which will be routed to County staff who will then set up this one person in the system.
Step 3: Set up other users. After the key District/LEA Administrator is set up in the SACS System by the County Office, they will need to set up and assign roles for other users in their organization.
Step 4: Attend the Training on Thurs., April 21 from 8:30 until noon. Districts will need to have their users set up in advance of the training. If a participant attends the training and is not set up, they will not be able to join in the exercises, etc.
We are working hard to make this transition as smooth as possible. Thank you for your efforts to get this new SACS Software implementation launched for your organization.
Your cooperation is always greatly appreciated!
