To qualify for the low-cost Home Internet offers, applicants can visit the link.edgepilot.com/s/cd3f9935/pOzsI0Zq3E_7CFG0WbwCTQ?u=http://www.everyoneon.org/cetf website and follow these east steps:
1. Provide the zip code for where they live. 2. Check the relevant boxes for programs they participate in — like the National School Lunch Program. 3. Select a Service Provider and sign up for home service.

As you may recall, our affordable Home Internet offers has support from the California Broadband Council and as a result of the Governor’s Executive Order<link.edgepilot.com/s/4bc21f3c/_tSJrAc2-E2Q7nDs8YPw4w?u=https://www.gov.ca.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/8.14.20-EO-N-73-20.pdf>, we are required to report on school districts that have participated in a flier distribution. To do this, please visit this LINK<link.edgepilot.com/s/b316e786/SjvCGJ3KMUWOH07kRpfD3A?u=https://forms.gle/rk5JhFRsDDyAVehbA> to report that your district has completed flier distribution. This information is vital to the governor’s ongoing work and the FCC’s ongoing work to greatly expand broadband infrastructure and service.

[FCC – News from the Federal Communications Commission]
FCC ANNOUNCES START DATE OF EMERGENCY BROADBAND BENEFIT PROGRAM EBB enrollment will open on May 12, 2021 —
WASHINGTON, April 29, 2021—Today, FCC Acting Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel announced the start date of the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program. As of May 12, 2021, eligible households will be able to enroll in the Program to receive a monthly discount off the cost of broadband service from an approved provider. Eligible households can enroll through an approved provider or by visiting link.edgepilot.com/s/8516aced/SKx3rrPM1Um_UnhZ5SiCXA?u=https://getemergencybroadband.org/<link.edgepilot.com/s/41ad341a/wavESZcPyk2v9TW-sMEWww?u=https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__getemergencybroadband.org%26d=DwMFAg%26c=L93KkjKsAC98uTvC4KvQDdTDRzAeWDDRmG6S3YXllH0%26r=…>.
“Families in every corner of the country have been struggling to get online throughout this pandemic. For those families, we now say help is around the corner. In less than two weeks, we will have a new way for disconnected Americans to access the internet to carry out their day-to-day life, so they can reach the virtual classroom, take advantage of telehealth, and seek new employment opportunities. I’m proud of the work we’ve done as an agency to get this program off the ground in record time,” said Rosenworcel. Between now and the start date, the FCC encourages partners and participating providers to conduct outreach efforts so that every eligible household knows about the program and how to sign up. The Commission will be providing a variety of materials for partners to use in their efforts to increase awareness about the program. During this time, the FCC and its program administrator, USAC, will continue to ensure that appropriate privacy and security safeguards are in place. The FCC also urges providers to continue to test their own systems for the program launch.
The Emergency Broadband Benefit Program will provide eligible households with discounts of up to $50 a month for broadband service, and up to $75 a month if the household is on Tribal lands. It also will provide a one-time discount of up to $100 on a computer or tablet for eligible households.
Under the law, the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program is open to households that participate in an existing low-income or pandemic relief program offered by a broadband provider; Lifeline subscribers, including those that are on Medicaid or accept SNAP benefits; households with kids receiving free and reduced-price lunch or school breakfast; Pell grant recipients; and those who have lost jobs and seen their income reduced in the last year.
