New Template Options In addition, please note that new template options are now available for disclosure of Proposed Collective Bargaining Agreements. These options build on improvements made to the traditional template by other County Offices. Three new options are available, all designed to reduce manual data entry of approved budgets and clearly display cumulative future cost increases, for up to five concurrent agreements (for districts settling with more than one bargaining unit or unrepresented group at a time):
1. Public Disclosure of CBA Form – DAT version. This version allows a district to paste their official .DAT file from SACS into a tab and pre-populate all Fund 01 and MYP data. Macros allow a district to hide and unhide tabs that are not applicable to all districts. Data for other funds may be populated using Excel exports from SACS. 2. Public Disclosure of CBA Form – Excel export version. This version allows a district to populate budget information using Excel exports from SACS for all funds and the MYP. Macros allow a district to hide and unhide tabs that are not applicable to all districts. This template may be a better option for districts settling in advance of budget adoption. 3. Public Disclosure of CBA Form – Macro Free version. This version allows a district to populate budget information using Excel exports from SACS for all funds and the MYP. In order to protect the integrity of the formulas, the workbook structure is protected and thus sheets may not be hidden or deleted. This version is recommended for districts who are unable to use macro-enabled files.
We encourage you to explore these new templates in advance of district negotiations. If you have suggestions for further improvements or would like to schedule training, please reach out to Amada Dulay at adulay@sbceo.org.
