2025-26 Fiscal Year End Close Calendar–UPDATED Cash Roll Forward Date
Dear School Business Professionals,
We wanted to provide an update on the ‘Cash Roll Forward’ journal entry task listed as 7/13 on the Fiscal Year End Close calendar<sbasweb.sbceo.org/finance/fiscal-year-end-close-calendar>. Additional time is needed for SBAS to create and post the ‘Cash Roll Forward’ journal entry due to the County of Santa Barbara’s first fiscal year end on a new financial system.
This adjustment is necessary to ensure all transactions are reflected accurately and in alignment with the total cash as reflected by the County Treasury at year end. SBAS is aiming to have the ‘Cash Roll Forward’ journal entry posted in Escape by the end of this week.
We do not anticipate further delay but will notify you of any additional changes.
