Annual Notification – Commercial Warrant Audits

Good Morning,
Please see the attached Annual Notification – Commercial Warrant Audits.

Please note our office requires districts to provide itemized invoices and other backup documentation with items selected for audit. Please refer to the Accounts Payable Manual for additional details. The districts retain the legal duty for ensuring that all payments are legitimate obligations of the district, and maintaining the appropriate detailed records.
Thank you for keeping in mind the 5pm Submission Day schedule, for your individual district, as this is critical in making sure we have adequate time to audit, print and deliver your commercial warrants.

I love listing both JE’s, one from 2021 that credits cash and debits the prepaid account and the one from 2022 that credits the prepaid account and debits the expensed accounts! I really hope you all heard my 2022 challenge! That’s to start using the AR Invoice re-occurring fields when creating this year’s AR Invoices if you haven’t already been using them! With so much information about getting ready for closing the 20/21 fiscal year, you may want to watch it again! If that’s you, I have good news! AP Schedule for Memorial Day 5/31/21

Dear School Business Officials and Accounts Payable Professionals,
Our office will be closed on Monday, May 31, 2021 in observance of the Memorial Holiday. In order to continue to serve our districts, we will need to modify the submission and delivery dates of AP warrants. Please review the attached holiday schedule to determine and plan accordingly for how this holiday will affect your district’s regular AP process.
