County Treasury Deposits – Pennies
Dear School Business Professionals,
We have been notified by the County of Santa Barbara Treasurer-Tax Collector’s office that effective immediately they will no longer be accepting armored deposits with pennies due to a policy change at the LOS ANGELES FEDERAL RESERVE. This includes any sealed armored bags that may contain pennies deposited directly at any County Treasury location or picked up via SBCEO trucking schedule.
Please notify your staff responsible for preparing deposits to the County Treasury of this change.
