W-2 Reporting
SBAS uses the information contained in Escape to process W-2 forms on behalf of districts and transmit electronic files to the IRS and EDD. Our office sends the printed W-2 forms to the districts for distribution to employees. In order to assist you, the following W-2 Reporting Information is now available on the SBAS Website<www.sbceo.org/domain/273>:

NEW-First Interim Budget Webpage on SBAS Website

The submission checklist, information, data, resources, and documents you will need to complete your First Interim Budget are now all available on the SBAS Website<www.sbceo.org/domain/252> in one convenient location. Please continue to check the website as resources, like the P-1 Property Tax Report, will be posted once information becomes available. The Bond Interest and Redemption Funds budget is updated each fall using information provided by the Santa Barbara County Auditor-Controller’s Office. This information should be used to update the districts’ First Interim Budget Report.

Good morning, There was an error in the SACS Validation tables released on Friday, October 29 with Resource 6266, Educator Effectiveness Grant. The corrected files are now available for download here on the SACS Valid Codes and Combinations web page: www.cde.ca.gov/fg/ac/ac/validcodes.asp. Updating the SACS software with the latest validation tables is a three-step process:
1. Download the vtables.exe zipped file to your C:\SACS2021ALL\Update folder. 2. Unzip the vtables.exe file to your C:\SACS2021ALL\Update folder. 3. Run the Update Validation routine in the SACS software to replace the existing tables with the updated tables.
